MK Auto Components, a public limited company, began as a partnership firm in 1996. It operates with three plants located in and around Chennai, Tamilnadu. The plant has the inhouse facility for Machining, Cold Forgings, Pressing and Heat treatment Facility with 75% of utilization. The company caters to OEMs and serves for LCVs, HCVs and PVs, Tractors, UVs Two and Three wheelers. The company established its Machine facility in the year 1996. In 2000, the company was accredited and certified with ISO 9002. The same year the highly precision parts of Fuel Injection Pump was launched as a product by the company. In 2001, the company established the Machining Facility Centre inside the unit. The commencement of exports started in the year 2002. In 2004, Cold forging and Heat treatment-SQF was established inside the unit. In 2005, Sliding head stock machines were established.
The company has wide range of clients which includes DELPHI, ROYAL ENFIELD, TVS INDIA, BHARATH BENZ, GKN DRIVE LINES, LUCAS TVS, EICHER, BRAKES INDIA & VISTEON POLTR TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS INDIA PVT LTD. The Company’s international clients include STANADYNE CORPORATION and MICHEX INTERNATIONAL among others. 80% of total company’s revenue gained from Domestic market. The company arrived a growth rate of 10% in the last two years. 20% of growth rate is forecasted in another two years.
